Penitent Flesh (1998)

Fans of Fine will love this hot, high-end video, as will the younger, hipper techno crowd. Nice box cover, too.

The pursuit of carnal pleasure is the ultimate corruption in the future, where the head of state control everyone's every sordid thought and fantasy. Jeanna Fine plays Desire, brought to court for the sullying assumption that two human beings consensually pleasuring each other is anything but sinful. fine sits before a jury, looking positively, decadently radiant, like a futuristic Tura Satana. Or Ava Gardner, gone really, really sinister.

Brad armstrong twists Jill Kelly every which way in a very Star Trek-like passageway. Kelly never looked hotter, something like the progeny of Charo and Barbara Eden. She's successfully risen to the noble heights of the Jeanna Fine Dirty-Talking'-While-Ya-Fuck-Me school, making the viewer wish this video were in 3D so they could reach out and tweak those perky nipples of hers.

Fine refuses to be intimidated, despite prosecutor Mike Horner's declarations to eliminate her. She knows what dirty truths and secrets are hidden in the collective subconscious of the creature known as Man. Flash to a grainy take, where Horner is pressed up against a wall in ecstasy, his dick being serviced anonymously via a glory hole. Is Fine holding a semen-stained trump card in her satin-gloved hand? And suddenly, reflected on the screen behind the judge's bench is what really transpires in Horner's chambers. Katie Gold, promised salvation by the powerful Horner, takes his fleshy scepter into her mouth, pussy and ass before he ultimately condemns her.

The returning Herschel Savage plays Judge Justice, a man who is anything but just. He too revels in the hypocrisy of his governing power, fast to condemn and destroy but quick to recant his actions when they are exposed. The screen reveals his observance of a writhing, nom-worthy g/g/g with Sydnee Steele, Charlie and Nakita Ka$h. Savage then happily sticks his cock into Steele's mouth, while Charlie and Ka$h watch, schtupping each other with his gavel. Savage spurts over Steele's face, then looks menacingly into her eyes and proclaims her "Guilty."

What hypocrites they all really are is revealed, in a not-too-far into the future tale that hits too close to contemporary mores.

Jack Remy's videography is pristine, the editing is on the mark, and the enthralling soundtrack makes the loins thrust along to the action. Director Jon Raven has his eye on the prize with this sumptuous entry.
