Best of Dark Brothers (2002)

The Dark Brother are among the true iconoclasts of hardcore filmmaking, a pair who staked out their own unique territory in the hardcore firmament. Bringing a twisted sense of humor and a great eye for sizzle to every feature, the Darks established themselves as among the first pornomakers to have their own visual style. There was no mistaking the down and dirty antics of a Dark Brothers flick with anyone else. The first edition of their 'Best of' collection gathers together some of their most out-there sex scenes, providing a great way to catch up with some of the most important sex shooters of their day. Among the highlights here is a scorching segment starring Vanessa Del Rio, in which she treats a whole room full of masked men to her lush natural charms. Vanessa's ravenous work here keeps things steaming along at a fever pitch. Even hotter is Ginger Lynn's legendary DP scene from 'New Wave Hookers.' Ginger belies her seemingly innocent exterior by taking on two studs in a gripping grinder that leaves everyone utterly spent. The hottest scene of all, though, belongs to a young Christy Canyon. Chained to the bed in some light S/M gear, Christy writhes and moans her way through a searing encounter that provides some great views of her naturally voluptuous frame. Great stuff from start to finish, all of it with that special Dark Brothers nastiness that fans have come to expect.
