Teresa "Teri" Susan Weigel was Playboy's April 1986 Playmate and one of the few people to make the transition from Playmate to hardcore pornography.

Weigel grew up in Deerfield Beach, Florida, and began her career as a lingerie catalog model for companies such as Saks Fifth Avenue. Her first appearance in Playboy was on the cover of the November 1985 issue, and she later became a Playmate in April 1986. She also appeared in several Playboy videos before her relationship with the magazine ended acrimoniously in 1990. Weigel has claimed that Playboy tried to interfere with her later career as a Playmate and that she was completely sidelined following her foray into hardcore pornography.

In addition to modeling, Weigel began acting and had a minor role on the NBC series Miami Vice during the 1985–1986 season. She subsequently appeared in several Hollywood films, including Predator 2, Marked for Death, and Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1988), in which she starred alongside George Clooney. She also made multiple television appearances as "Jade" on Married... with Children.

She is known for being the first Playmate to act in hardcore pornography films, which she did in 1991. The first Playmate to appear in pornography was Susan Lynn Kiger, Miss January 1977, who, unbeknownst to Playboy, had filmed a hardcore film in 1976, a year prior to her Playmate shoot. Weigel was also the second Playmate to appear in Penthouse magazine (after Ursula Buchfellner in November 1985), although not as Pet of the Month, as that "first spot" goes to Linn Thomas. Weigel said her entry into pornography was not something she wanted, but was driven by a lack of opportunities at Playboy, her poor relationship with new CEO Christine Hefner, and the need to work after a serious car accident in 1990.

Weigel said the transition to pornography was easy, as she and her husband were swingers and had no problem having relationships with other people. Her husband also entered the porn industry at the same time as her. "The fact that I came from Playboy was a big deal and I was treated like a superstar," Weigel said. "I was always on the cover of the boxes and I was the highest paid actress at the time." Weigel avoided sex scenes between women in her early films, as she had no prior experience. "My first time with a girl was with Alicyn Sterling in a threesome scene with my husband. She gave me pleasure better than any man and I climaxed. After that, I knew I could have relationships with women," she shared. "I think all women are bisexual; they just rarely get the chance to act on it, and pornography allows women to discover that side of themselves." Her first formal scene with another woman was with Madison Stone in the film Wicked (1991).

Shortly after she began acting in adult films, Weigel underwent breast augmentation surgery and changed her hair color from dark brown to blonde. She has been involved in two serious car accidents (in 1990 and again in 1994), and it is not known if she underwent any plastic surgery as a result.

In 2005, Weigel was one of many porn stars to be inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame during the AVN Awards, the industry's premier awards event held annually in Las Vegas. She also worked as a featured escort at a legal brothel in Nevada, the Moonlite Bunny Ranch. Her husband since 1986, Murrill Maglio, passed away in 2015.
