Raised in a Quaker family and married to her husband a year before finishing high school, after some temporary jobs as a babysitter, a cosmetics salesperson and a waitress in some restaurants, at the age of 18 RayVeness entered porn through the not so usual amateur route. She began acting exclusively with her husband and some guest girls, but that was too small for her and in 1997 she divorced her husband and began her professional career.

With another failed marriage in between, in 2000 RayVeness took a break from her career to try her luck in conventional cinema, but returned in 2003 after some professional setbacks. In 2006 she took another break to return a year later as a contract girl for Girlfriends Films, a production company specializing in lesbian porn. In 2011 she officially announced her retirement, but a few months later she retracted her decision and returned to her old ways.

It seems that this MILF with a privileged physique who has aged like no other without using a scalpel lives in a permanent contradiction.
