Biography of Cheri Bomb (Last update: 2024-11-09)

Cherry Bomb appeared in every men's magazine in the 1970s and 1980s (Cheri, Oui and many others) both as a model and as a roving rock reporter. One minute she was gracing the pages with provocative photographs; the next, reporting backstage at concerts by rising rock stars such as The Police, Ted Nugent or Buzzcocks.

Amazingly, this high-profile dual career was only a small part of Cherry Bomb's life: she was a regular at Andy Warhol's Factory, dated musicians such as Dennis Wilson and Keith Moon, appeared in the cult X-rated film Chorus Call (1978) as well as several loops, had her own clothing business and was a stripper.

But perhaps her biggest profile came when she joined the cult rock band Thor, one of the great groups that almost failed in the 1980s, and married the lead singer.
