Anna Ventura was born on June 9, 1960, in Barcelona, Spain. She came from a multicultural family, with a father of Irish and German-American descent and a mother of Italian-American descent. She was the youngest of four siblings and grew up in New York City, where she attended high schools in Canoga Park and Granada Hills. She later enrolled at Pierce College in Woodland Hills.
In December 1979, Anna began her career in the adult modeling industry, quickly becoming one of the most successful models in the industry. Her image appeared in renowned magazines such as Penthouse, Oui, and Hustler, as well as in several lesser-known publications, where her popularity allowed her to appear on multiple covers.
Ventura was selective in her work, only beginning to perform hardcore scenes after receiving an irresistible offer to appear on "Bad Girls," where she shared the screen with Pia Snow, who would later become the famous Scream Queen Michelle Bauer. This film became one of the biggest hits of the year, further cementing her status in the industry.
Despite its success, in 1983, Anna decided to retire from the business, although not permanently. During this time, it was rumored that she was in a relationship with one of the editors of a major rock music magazine. In the late 1980s, she married and began a family, having four children: three girls and a boy, replicating the family structure of her own childhood.
After several years living a discreet life as a wife and mother, in the 2000s, Anna discovered a Yahoo group dedicated to her. She joined the group under the pseudonym "Patti," and although members initially doubted her authenticity, she proved her identity by sharing a current photo. Anna was pleased that people still remembered her work and the friendships she had made during her career.
However, her return to the public eye created personal problems for her. In the midst of a divorce and custody case, her ex-husband attempted to use her former career against her in court. Eventually, the group was disbanded, and Anna returned to obscurity.
Over the years, Ventura moved several times before settling in North Carolina, where she married for the third time in 2017. She was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed frequent rides. Four days after her passing, her children, grandchildren, husband, and friends, along with her oldest daughter, who also shared her passion for motorcycles, paid tribute to Anna by wearing her mother's motorcycle jacket and holding a ride in her honor.
