This gorgeous Japanese millennial is the living image of one of the biggest differences between Japanese and Western porn: what happens after porn. While in Europe and the United States, pornstars have to weigh their decisions very carefully, knowing that when they end that life, it will be extremely difficult to reintegrate into civil society without being judged at every step, and not to mention in a job with a view to public life; in Japan, idols go from being models for teen magazines to filming hardcore porn, and then to joining pop groups or filming youth series without the slightest hint of difficulty.

Ai was recruited for the pornographic cause of the so-called Japanese Adult Video like almost all AV idols: some photographer, cameraman or slightly sloppy producer stopped her on the street in 2011 and suggested she try her luck in the filmed porn business. The impression she made when she stripped naked at her agency was tremendous, so much so that the president came down from the office to admire her beauty and baptized her there and then based on her relative resemblance to Uehara Takako and Kato Ai. In September 2015, she joined the J-pop youth group Ebisu Muscats, a role she combined with porn until her retirement from the erotic business in the spring of the following year, in a multitudinous farewell act surrounded by colleagues and fans that filled an entire theatre. Since then, she has lived mainly from advertising deals in various sectors, being for example the face of the Asian betting portal Queen Casino.
